- Coffee pod can be "made" at home with 'Brew-Yet
- Coffee pod that does not come in the blend of coffee you wanted is a major
drawback in the single serve coffee industry. The single serve coffee
suppliers have tried ways and means to mitigate the situation.
- Firstly, most single serve coffee makers allows you to use a variety of
coffee pods. Then, they tried to come out with more and different blends
very season to cater to as many taste profile as possible.
- However, to get the exact blend that individuals like, can only be
achieved if consumers are allowed to "make" their own pods.
Personally, using what I call quack methods, highlighted online should never
be attempted.
- You would almost definitely spoil your coffee and sometimes, your single
serve coffee machine as well. There wasn't a solution until the arrival of
"Brew-Yet" coffee disc maker. .....

LOVE THE BREW-YET COFFEE DISC MAKER!!!
I love being able to use whatever kind and flavor of coffee that I
want at a fraction of the cost of brand-name pods.
I even think that the taste is better because you can make it to your
own taste. Making my own
discs has saved me a ton of money. It
is easy to use and only takes a minute to make a disc.
This is a must have for all coffee lovers who brew with a pod
maker!!!!!

Absolutely! That's what started the BREW-YET Coffee
Disc Maker in the beginning. The ability to have your favorite coffee or
combinations of coffees at the strength you like. One cup at a time. You can

- Where are Coffee Disc filters available?
The filters used are - #2 coffee filter (either basket or
cone styles can be used - we tend to prefer the basket style) and are generally
available at supermarkets, coffee shops or on the web. These are the same
paper filters that have been used in the smaller sized drip coffee machines for
years. We believe that using filters that are readily (and easily) available
locally helps to improve customer satisfaction.

- Can I brew Tea's with it?
Sure can! Just use loose teas in the BREW-YET Coffee
Disc Maker instead of coffee - Follow the same steps to make a Disc and you can
brew your favorite tea. Or just as with the Coffee Discs, you can create
your tea brews by blending different tea's and flavors to your liking.

- Are Coffee
Discs hard to make? Not at all, making your Coffee Disc
is so quick and easy that most folks prepare their Disc while their Coffee
Machine is preheating the water to Brew their coffee or tea.

- Does it produce consistent coffee?
We believe that the BREW-YET Coffee Disc Maker produces very
consistent coffee each and every time.
In making coffee, once you have selected your brewing technology, the
next two largest variable that can influence the consistency of the coffee
are the coffee itself (this includes freshness, grind and blend) and the
amount of coffee that is used in the brew (to little and it can be weak
etc.). The Coffee Disc Maker
provides the home coffee brewer with the flexibility to use their desired
coffee – so we will not discuss that here.
The Coffee Discs Maker also allows one (within the limits of what the
various machines will accept) to vary the amount of coffee used (the
instructions indicate 2 TABLESPOONS of coffee).
Here at BREW-YET, we like our coffee on the stronger side –
so our Tablespoons tend to be “FULL” Tablespoons, which naturally
produces a very consistent volume of coffee of use.
Any method that lets you use a consistent amount of coffee will
result in a very consistent Brewed cup of coffee.

- Have
heard about “prewetting” a Coffee Disc - what is it?
In virtually any Single Serve coffee machine that does not pre-wet
the pod as part of its cycle –
you should consider doing this. What
you do is to place the Coffee Disc into the pod holder and simply run hot water over it, till it is damp.
The results is a moistened Disc, which will have better overall
extraction. This is a common
technique used with prepackaged products to improve their consistency.

- Does it really save money?
Yes - compared to having to buy prepackaged Coffee Pods.
Our analysis shows that using the BREW-YET Coffee Disc Maker the cost per
cup of coffee is about 25% of the cost of Coffee Pods. If you drink 2 cups of
coffee a day, it's pays for itself within 2 to 3 weeks and you'll be drinking
coffee that you really like!

dispose of? Not at all. You discard the created Coffee Disc's directly
from the coffee machine's coffee pod holder. No coffee grids to deal with or
filters to wash. If you compost - Coffee Discs can be placed there.

To simply be able to use the coffee's we like in a coffee
pod machine without the limitations of existing pods, flavors. We wanted
"coffee pods" with our favorite coffee's, blends and tailored to the
